Who Am I?

Just a girl This is just the story of a wide-eyed wondering girl.

Scratch that. This is my story. Just mine.

My name is Jade. I'm a little darker, a little brighter, a little more sarcastic than most. I love to write. So far, I've written (counts on fingers) four serious books, but only one I've held completely commited to. My plan is to change people's thinking with my writing, and to inspire others someday, to change their thinking about people constantly around us everyday. Sometimes I think teenagers are the best writers, because we feel and see everything so intensely.
Besides writing, music also plays a big role in my life. I'm constantly getting songs stuck in my head, or humming something during class. Some of my favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Nirvana, and Rush. I love lyrics to songs, because sometimes, they tell a more clear story than a 200 page book can, and that alone is incredible, taking me to other places even just for five minutes. Whenever I hear a song I like, I look it up and listen to it nonstop, and then look up the bios of the bands. I like to know where and who my music comes from, it makes you start to really think about the song, and what went through their minds making it, you know?
I'm an art junkie at heart. I'm obsessed with antiques. 
 I'm always reading, always getting new books in Barnes & Noble. I know where most of the good books are by heart. I love the kind of books that you can reach out to and think somebody gets it. My favorite book is Memoirs of A Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin. I love the quirkiness of all her characters, and would definetly want Will as a best friend in real life :)
 I love dreaming. I love stopping at random places for the heck of it. I love to analyze, and think that memories are the greatest gifts given. I'm the kind of girl that's jamming to the classic rock station and stuffing her nose into every candle in the store. I love the ocean. I have a thing for dark-haired boys. I believe in soul mates. Vintage and punk rocks!
