Go?

This has been the Big Question lately. Should I stay or should I go? Europe? Nada? Or yes? It's so far away from everyone I love, and lets just say that I get severely homesick. But hey, it's Europe, and a once in a lifetime oppritunity, right?
...Right?Last night I had a dream that I was walking through the pebble streets just staring at everything. It was even better than I imagined. What I do is imagine the worst usually, and that's a bad thing to do. Sometimes I'm worried that Europe won't be as amazing as I thought it would be. But let me tell you: this dream was amazing. God, wish I was there.
But should I really go?That's the question of the day for me.Stay?
Or go?
Me: No clue.

  1. GO! JADE YOU HAVE TO!! It'll take your mind off things and you'll feel SO refreshed and ready to take on the world. Over there, no one knows who you are. You can be YOU. The one you WANT to be. My friend went over the summer and she said she wished she could live there. She said it was AMazing. And her opinion is good enough for me. So go. Or you'll regret not going and wondered if you should have gone and it'll be horrible. You'll get a change of scenery. So my advice is to go, and have fun.
Where in Europe are you planning to go?

  2. Oh Jade - I know the 'anxiety' about travel - but I agree with Melanie...GO! Even if you do get homesick, it will teach you how much you love where you live, or how much you love the people you left. It'll teach you so many other things that a lifetime in school could never come close to. You'll meet people that will expand your mind, and you'll get to know yourself so much better. You may even fall in love!
You'll discover parts of yourself that you might even know are there!
If you are going alone, you could sign up for a group tour (like Contiki)that has tours broken down into different age groups so you could be with your peers...
And I left the best until last! You'll have fun!!!

  12. After I booked tickets for my Europe trip (I went in July this year), I started to get so worrie dabout everything...about weakening new friendships I'd made, about missing out on things about home, missing friends and family..
But i can tell you that once you get over there you get so wrapped up in the lifestyle, so lost in all the new cities and places, you forget you're not at home for the most part. Especially if you're travelling with a friend.
There's times youll feel like you're a bit out of your element but if you've got the right mindset you'll learn to relish it instead of fear it.
Along with everyone else on here my advice is to go, and don't look back. You'll love it.

  13. Go! Most people would die for an opportunity to go to Europe. Being away from loved ones suck, but imagine all the photos and stories you'll be able to share with them!

    xx

  14. Jade- Okay! I'll follow you too! And I have an idea about me, you, Francesa, Talia, and if you remember Lauren? If we could all get on Lisi's and just talk like we all used too, like in the winter/spring? like the old group. :) Lauren said she's down, if you want to email me at xo_hannah@live.com that'll be great. :) I'm going to try and get ahold of Francesca and Talia, but if you have their email or anything, then just let me know in an email, okay? :) X's and O's, Hannah. ♥

  15. Go! Go! Go!
I'm going on exchange and deep down I know it's not going to be all I've idealised it to be but you have to make the most of it, wherever you go and if you stay positive and optimistic and believe everytime will turn out right, it will.
By the way, why exactly are you going to Europe? :P
