Outside the Lines

I'd like to be many girls that I'm not. The girl with the bright personality, the boldness, or the sincere kindness. Or maybe the girl who's daring and not afraid of anything.
But you can't be all of them, though...

...Or can you?

I didn't know the answer to this a couple years ago when I started to wonder about this. To me, at the time, it was either this or that, black and white. Now, though, I understand that people are sometimes a little gray here and there. It's okay to go outside the lines. So, my answer is this: YEAH! You can be all those girls. Every one of us is. Now my soul will rest in peace.

  1. But those girls are already taken...be YOU! You are you for a reason. I'm the smart blonde who doesn't give a fuck. =)
    Wow.

  2. Sure, you can be all of those girls, but why not be Jade? Why not be you? I think that your posts that make you think, your comments that always make me smile, and the way that you and I are so much alike is the exact person you should stay! I'm the brunette on the volleyball court, who makes good grades, and is a rebal in this uptight society. But, you know. Shit happens, and you're not going to be the same person forever. That's why I accept it, say fuck it, and move on. (: X's and O's, Hannah. ♥

  3. Maybe you're all of them in a way. There's going to be a piece of that blonde girl, that rebellious girl and that silent girl in you. Heck, there's going to be other parts of "girl" in you that only you have. So why not be you?

  6. people with black & white minds bother me...when nothing can be in the middle, only polar opposites. But things have to be balance, you know?
    Anyway, I love this!
